Haydn's cheerful nature stood him through early struggles and the trouble of dealing with several princes. He was a prolific composer, and Zannos relishes telling the stories of the Miracle Symphony and the Farewell Symphony. Some awkward sentences and a few typos mar the prose, and there's an overuse of the two-color scheme and a profusion of fonts in the design, but these books will have appeal for young music aficionados. It's worth mentioning in the subtitle that this is a vegetarian cookbook. Also that recipes aren't rooted in historical tradition.

I know this was labeled as for beginners, which I am, but I thought it would be a collection of recipes. Instead this was mostly a guide based on wiccan philosophy. The author talks about vegetarian and organic, fresh and local. All of that is good I guess but still not what I thought I was paying for. A part of why I didn't enjoy this as much was because it only had a few recipes. And some of those were for kitchen cleaners instead of food. I don't feel like this is necessary if you already have a respect for nature and let that factor into how you source/prepare your food.

This is a great book to open your eyes to kitchen witchery. Mrs. Chamberlain is an excellent author and is easy to understand. I recommend all of her books to my witchy friends.

Excellent book for the Wiccan Kitchen and well written. Good for the beginner and even for the advanced Witch. Some things were new to me and some I had known before. Very good book for any Witches Kitchen.

Very interesting, beautiful arrangements in this book. Some of them follow the songs closely and others have cool little sections that stray into new territory (Who Wants to Live Forever, among others). Just don't expect all of them to sound note for note like the originals, the arranger is pretty creative, but these are solid.As to the difficulty of the arrangements, if I were to hazard a guess I would place these at the advanced level, not suitable for beginners. I only mention it because I don't see any indication on this page. Also, there are no lyrics, if that's something that you care about.

I think the fact that my mom cried when I played "We are the Champions" and the more somber part of "Bohemian Rhapsody" proves that these arrangements are amazing :) She wasn't really familiar with Queen's music but became a fan listening to the songs. Phillip has a way that makes every piece full of emotion. He rocks! I think I have 90% of his books.

I wanted to love this, but these arrangements just aren’t for me. I have a book of the note for note transcriptions that I enjoy playing so much more; I always go back to that book because it just sounds so much more authentic. Don’t get me wrong - Keveren does a great job, it’s just personal preference. I just would rather play a solid piano accompaniment I guess!

Very good. Glad to have it in my sheet music collection.

This book doesn't include any lyrics, so we returned it and ordered something else.

Pleased with whole experience-just as described. I've been looking for this for years.

This book is such a good text when working toward the CAPM or PMP. The PMBOK is great, but more of a reference point to me. This book is an easy read and gives you an easier read. I am thankful that I read this book because I passed my CAPM on the first try! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn on their own or wanting something to make a PM class a little easier.Note: this book corresponds and references the PMBOK.

The content is pretty good. Decent real life examples. I love XKCD comics but it feels forced having them as cutesy "examples" in this book. I find the typos and inconsistencies very distracting and frustrating. Feels like they didn't have a professional copyeditor proofread the final copy.

The book came in perfect condition. I bought it used, but it looks like it is brand spanking new!

Aah yes, poor Ming Lo! We couldnt be without this one! My cat used our first copy for shredding practice one day, so I quickly jumped online to my favorite site and of course it was there! My son knows this story by heart but still laughs every time the cakes and loaves take flight! Good lesson on how to change the way we percieve things in order to enjoy what we have, get this for your child.

Kids (ages 5 and 8) loved it! Book arrived quickly and as expected. Thank you!

This is a wonderful picture book. I use it to teach sequencing to my students. The kids laughed at the silly couple and their ideas of moving a mountain.

When I was a teacher ( 21 years in the classroom) this book was always in my classroom library. It was a favorite with my students. I have been retired for a while and really missed this book, so I bought myself a copy!It is a sweet and simple story-- or is it? Engineering design is the set of activities that lead to the manufacture of exciting new products such as aircraft, automobiles, home appliances, and hand tools as well as the construction of new facilities such as refineries, steel mills, and food processing plants. It is a pursuit that challenges our analytical abilities and our knowledge of mathematics, the sciences, and manufacturing to find solutions that work better, last longer, and are easy to maintain or repair. Just as important, however, is that engineering design is fulfilling and personally satisfying in that we can use our creative abilities to develop ideas, that they become real, and that they meet the needs of our fellow human beings. This text is for students at the undergraduate or first-year graduate level. It is for design and nondesign faculty who wish to learn more about modern design concepts and methods. It is for practicing engineers who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills. The book is not a comprehensive, intellectual report of engineering design research. Rather, the text is a practical, down-to-earth presentation of engineering design integrating topics about the business of manufacturing. It draws upon the author's engineering and managerial experiences at organizations such as General Electric, Fisher Price Toys, Wurlitzer, and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. Preliminary versions of the text have been successful in semester-long design courses that include team-based design projects. This book brings together the best design methods and practices in a consistent, clear, and orderly presentation. Readers are introduced to concepts and methods developed by the best engineering design authors in the world including Dixon and Poli, Dieter, Otto and Wood, Pahl and Beitz, and Ullman.
