When I purchased this book it was simply to have another book by Leslie Householder. I love her other books and I am currently completing her Mindset Mastery Program. I was stopped at the introduction the moment I read her words. "I've written this book out of deep gratitude to God for allowing me to suffer years of financial lack and endure the negative effect of depression." So, why stopped? I had grown up in a community that often made the religious statement, " in all things, give thanks" but I had never seen such a bold acknowledgment around what must have been a very difficult time for our author.So it was settled, this book is not about feel-good tips and motivation. It's about doing the work even with your issues. This year, many of my friends will receive a copy.ear, anxiety, and doubts,

I LOVE this book!!!! I lend my 2 copies out all the time and refer friends to it as often as they will listen. Using the truths in this book I powerfully built my faith and vision I went for a dream...changed our financial situation and bought our dream home on 5 acres. I LOVE my home and especially my new awareness and knowledge of the laws and truths so beautifully taught in this book. Thank you Thank you Householder.

I liked it but it was similar to her other book The Jackrabbit Factor, but minus the rabbits. The inspiration for her books is Bob Proctor's book You Were Born Rich. She tells us her life changed after attending one of his seminars. I plan to re-read Hidden Treasures now that I have read You Were Born Rich, which I LOVED reading! Basically these books tell you to change your attitude and you will change your life. There are lots of books out there to lend inspiration...Think and Grow Rich was mentioned in Bob Proctor's book. But I think an underlying theme could be that you don't necessarily need to pursue wealth to be rich. A happy person is "rich" no matter how much wealth he/she accumulates.

These days it seems "everyone" is either writing or reading books on the Law of Attraction! I know I've read more than one, but this one answered a question I've had unanswered till now. In it, Leslie Householder reveals what to do when you have fear, anxiety, and doubts, expecially when bad things happen. How do we not create from fear and anxiety when we have those times of, quite understandably, feeling fear and anxiety?I won't give away the answer because everything Leslie has to say about the Law of Attraction makes it worth the purchase! In addition, if you are either Mormon or Christian and want some Biblical references for the Law of Attraction, Leslie provides that. As she herself says, you do not have to appreciate the spiritual perspective to enjoy the benefits of reading her book. However, if spirituality is part of your life, I recommend her take on the Law of Attraction. Especially the answer to the question about how to handle fear and doubt!

Amazing read, I don't have words to explain how much i love these books. I was born Indian, believe 200% in Lord Krishna and teachings of Bhagavad Gita. Dr. Weiss had proven everything, what's written in GITA as Lord Krishna's message to humanity, "how we are immortals and how our soul never die" .How we can attain or reach GOD after innumerable births and deaths in this planet earth. Like Dr. Weiss says when you graduate from this earth schools university with highest degree you choose not to return to earth school and be one with that superconsciousness which we all agree as GOD !!

Thank you for helping us “stay woke” with the stories in Same Soul, Many Bodies which is the third book I have read with Brian although this was the first on Kindle. The future visions and the choices the clients share were beautiful to read before bed most nights and while watching my children today as they nap and watch videos. I am excited to read Only Love Is Real and am grateful for all the help on my journey in immortality. What I would add is in the big big picture all of this learning and journey to the One is essentially a divine game. Very, very weird....but grounded. Way out there but believable. This book was the fastest read I ever had. Really enjoyed it. I recommend it as it is kind of mind blowing.

I enjoy reading Brian Weiss's literature because he lends educated insight into his results from having people search the memory of the soul. He doesn't sell the results of life regression and progression as fact but only that there is evidence to support the revelations patients see under hypnosis about their soul's history. He shares the healing benefits of the technique he's developed and offered a very hopeful hypotheses that earthly suffering isn't for naught but that we can and in fact must strive to learn from our situational challenges in order to advance in spiritual wisdom and by association, in the divine realms also. One comes away from Brian Weiss's research with a sense of immediacy about the experiences conveyed, in that we all have our own to contribute as well. The research and its messenger deliver a fresh and inspiring hope for an ever more meaningful existence based on our experiences in this world, and those just beyond. The stories shared offer engaging food for philosophical discussion and introspection.

THIS BOOK FROM BRIAN WEISS ISN'T FOR EVERYBODY. IT DEPENDS HOW YOU VIEW LIFE, DEATH, AND YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE. Supreme wise read. For me as a consulting hypnotist this is totally believable as I experienced similar sessions. Fascinating to read, its hard to stop until the last page, then you want more and more, it's truly an eye opener.

Excellent book. Dr. Weiss has presented different people's situations including their regressions where they discuss their past lives and progressions discussing options of their future lives. Anyone who believes in re-incarnation will enjoy this book. I gave a five star rating as I believe in re-incarnation and that we need to have love for all living beings which is what Dr. Weiss mentions throughout this book.

VERY GOOD LINE REPRODUCTIONS OF SOME MAYA ART.

There are only one or two examples of colored pictures, it is a coloring book. I like the Mayan designs. I have several students from southern Mexico who still speak Mayan dialects and wanted to have more culturally appropriate art assignments for them.

I have several of these design books & they are all perfect loaded with detailed designs that can be used for many projects. I cant wait until more are printed so i can add to my already large collection.

Its so much fun all my colored pencils are dull

These illustrations are great for adding context and color to social studies lessons and projects on Central America. They'll also make you want to view the originals!

Good book with large pictures and interesting information. There are problems, such as the pictures are printed on both sides of the page thus requiring protection on the back of the page while coloring, and the paper could be better. Overall, however, the book is good especially considering the price.The Pictures are authentic as they are taken from Mayan temples.

I originally bought this book while researching designs for aMayan tattoo. I bought this book in Taos NM, of all places, and thatwas in 1988! It has remained one of my most prized posessions. Iwill forget about it but I always panic when I can't remember where it is. Many of the designs in the book include glyphs,murals,carvings and a few have been redrawn from illustrations in scholarly journals. It is well worth the price!If you enjoy beautiful Mayan art you must buy this book.

Not a fault of Rick Steve's but the world is changing so fast that a physical book, released on a yearly cycle, doesn't hold up very long. The maps and recommended walks worked out nicely but dinning recomendatons were a hit and miss and some tour info was no longer correct. I took a lot of heat from the family after walking across town to a recommend dining spot only to find the location boarded up. Should have called first. Info on obtaining Anne Frank tickets without an advanced reservation was incorrect. There is no longer a physical waitline at the museum itself for the unprepared. All ticket sales are done online, period.

Well, Rick Steves always has great books. We have had some interesting experiences ... in one case, we were in Florence and sat at a window table to eat. We placed Rick Steves' book on the table. Tourists walking by noticed the book and came in ... as if "If Rick Steves recommends this place it must be good!" On another trip, we used Rick Steves' ROME to find a place to stay and transportation from Rome to the port. Excellent information. Affordable lodging. Great driver to and from the port. And then, to top it off, Rick Steves just happened to be on the same cruise! Needless to say, when we were ready to visit Amsterdam for the first time, we purchased a copy of his pocket guide. Excellent every step (literally ... STEP) of the way! Amsterdam is a great place to visit, very tourist friendly, and incredibly easy to get around with Rick Steves' guidance.

We stayed 4 nights, and had 3 full days in Amsterdam. This pocket book was invaluable. Each day we completed one of the walking tours, visited a museum, and then enjoyed Amsterdam for the rest of the night. I felt like we saw a good portion of the city within a short amount of time and within our budget. We used a Lonely Planet guide for another city on our trip and were disappointing in the quality compared to this Rick Steve's guide. Do yourself a favor and order this book!

It was a great addition to our trip to Amsterdam. It provided a great deal of useful information about select areas and gave good information about the background of these places. I liked the organization and coloring of the book as well. I'd recommend this to most people!

I was only in Amsterdam for two days and with the help of this book I was able to pack in (almost) everything! This was my first trip traveling solo, so I wanted to be as prepared as possible for Amsterdam. I am so glad I bought this book! There are so many tips, tours, and facts that I felt extremely comfortable navigating around by myself! The size is perfect for a purse or backpack! Get this book! Do it and never look back!

I did one of the walking tours in this book, and found the narration to be excellent. At times, the use of ordinal.directios was confusing, as I did not always know what they were (no compass). Regardless, Rick Steves' guides are always excellent, and are my go to source for accurate and timely information.

Great small travel guide worked well for our 2 days in Amsterdam. All the main sites with easy to follow maps and it easily fit in my purse.

Was traveling with a few friends - each had their own book. Mine was the one we used for all of our exploring. Really clear walking instructions, and perfect for seeing the highlights! Like all of Rick Steve's books it's written in an easy style, with very practical information and the size makes it easy to carry along so it's always available. For dining we preferred to pick a place that looked interesting in the neighborhood we were in, so I don't know about the food or lodging recommendations.

Finished THE BLACK GOD'S DRUMS from @pdjeliclark and YALL...yall. What an amazing piece of work. I am always, always impressed by my friend, but man did he put in some work here. The worldbuilding was stellar and really took into account all the ways his alternate history would play out. I think when black writers imagine a world history where slavery isn't just one devastating loss after loss for us it's easy to lean into something utopia-ish. Of course the author's background and knowledge would never allow for something that rose colored and convenient. Haiti might be free and flourishing in this world, but the tyrannical, racist regime of the American South and its Confederates still exist. A great weapon beat back Europe, but it cost the slave rebels too. But beyond the worldbuilding, the characters are so easy to fall into. If you've seen people talk about the nuns it's for good reason. Trust me. If there was nothing else to this story but the nuns then it would be worth it.Please, please read this story.@pdjeliclark is going to be a name you want to say you started reading from the beginning. He has that element that so many writers (myself included) strive to find. He knows his voice and he knows the kind of stories he wants to execute with it.Bravo my friend!

I don’t normally read many novellas, but P. Djèlí Clark has given us quite the fun romp in The Black God’s Drums. This is a wonderful fantasy novella, easily readable in one sitting, that does a tremendous job of plot twists and world building. There’s a lot to like here!This novella made such a fun morning read on my day off one week. First off, the world building was quite deep for something that took me roughly two hours to read. I loved the world that Clark was able to flesh out. He also has a gift for communicating with brevity but without sacrificing detail. Reading the novella was almost like watching a painter start with a blank canvas, and with each stroke, make a picture come to life. I’d now like an epic fantasy trilogy set in this same world, that’s the level of world building we’re talking here. There are also a couple twists that were fun to read and figuring out where things were going or how they’d end up kept things engaging.There isn’t a ton to criticize in this novella. There were a couple times I felt like things worked out a little too easily for the main character. Actually, it might be better to say that there were a few sort of literal deus ex machina situations that lessened the impact of some moments for me.If you’re looking for a fun, short read that does some really fun stuff with world building and gets your pulse pounding from scene to scene, then give The Black God’s Drums a read! I’m definitely looking forward to reading some of the other short stories and novella’s that Clark has written.4/5 stars.5 – I loved this, couldn’t put it down, move it to the top of your TBR pile4 – I really enjoyed this, add it to the TBR pile3 – It was ok, depending on your preferences it may be worth your time2 – I didn’t like this book, it has significant flaws and I can’t recommend it1 – I loathe this book with a most loathsome loathing

This book was amazing - the best new book I've read in YEARS. The author is a fantastic world builder, and his general descriptions of the goings on around the characters slowly divulge this magical place without great exposition. His characters are simple yet absolutely amazing. I would love to read more about this lively, unique world. I will read every single word this extraordinary young author writes! Thank you sir!

The Black God’s Drums is a novella by P. Djèlí Clark, and features an alternative history America where the events of the American Civil War have been slightly changed and the States are not as United as they once were. Slavery is still present, but there are key differences, and each state operates to its own rules. Separate to that, there is now steampunk technology and it’s on an airship that our main character, Creeper, wants to escape on and leave New Orleans far, far behind.Born during a violent storm, Creeper has divine powers curtesy of Oya, the African orisha of the wind and storms, who lives inside her and pulls her this way and that to her own purposes. Such as sending her warning signs or shoving attackers away by force, and in return Creeper is able to be stealthy and move silently, which enables her pickpocket lifestyle as well as being able to hear dangerous things, and eventually, come into close contact with a very dangerous weapon.The airship captain is especially a favourite, and I would love a series of her life and loves (please and thank you), as well as a heck of a lot more of this world and the rest of its characters – Creeper goes without saying, and I'd love to know more of the nuns.This is a powerful and elegantly written novella at only just 100 pages. You have a full world and history in your head, beautifully orchestrated characters, and while this is a satisfying read plot-wise it’s simply too good to leave it there – you’ll need and want more.Let’s hope we get it.

As someone just starting to explore the passive income idea I found this book to be very informative. It also scores each idea on several attributes, which helps in assessing the opportunity.It's a big book, almost more of a textbook / workbook. Lots of white space on the pages, which I found useful to take notes.

This book has a lot of really useful information and probably my favorite of Graham's how to's and step by steps! This is an area that interests me when I am looking for "side income" without having to take a second job. There are great tips on things you do like real estate or blogging which is something I am very interested in. I would definitely recommend this book.

Of course we need to know the proper way how to handle it by proper research. Do the best we can ,to make it work . Happy to learn new ideas and to earn extra income from this.

Do you have a quirky sense of humor (that some people outside of your mind refer to as 'sick')? This may be just the book for you! My dad and I love T-Rexs, and have been told we have an odd sense of humor...I heard of "T-Rex Trying" and looked it over! After wetting myself laughing at it, I knew I had found dad's 69th birthday present!!! Total home run, he loved it as much as I did...as did many family members... the one that got the biggest laughs? Sun tan lotion :-)

Bought this book as a going away present for a good co-worker friend who is leaving town for a new job. Our office has an ongoing gag where we share funny videos and pictures involving T-Rex dinosaurs doing silly things (think the popular blow-up suits that people wear) and we call it "T-Rex Tuesdays." The co-worker who is leaving is the one who started it, so I knew I had to get him a gift that is T-Rex themed. When I found this book I knew it would be perfect. It came in perfect condition. I took it around the office and each person signed a page with a comic that resonated with them in some way or another. Everyone got a kick out of it and most people commented that they want to buy the book for themselves. It was a huge hit, and the co-worker was presented with the book today at his going away party. Great book. Love it. Mine is printed upside down. When I open the front cover, the last page is there instead of he title page. It is backwards and upside down. So I flipped it and opened it from the back. Everything is there and it's in great shape. Just odd that it was printed as such.

This book is hysterical. Perfect for your coffee table. I had found it in an Amazon store originally and had been thinking about it ever since. each page is an illustration of a T Rex trying to do something, with a caption. They have short arms, big bodies, big heads etc - so basically everything for them is awkward and comical.

This book is definitely adult humor (but not in a censored way) and has many more pages than anticipated. We purchased it as a gift for our nephew, however my brother is getting way more fun from it for now!

I found this very funny. After I read it, I continued to have "flashes" of different pages (ie. thinking of "T-Rex clapping") and would giggle. I finally bought a few for friends, just so I would be the only one doing this! I have a sticker now on my car that reads "I love you this mu...! Whoops!" with a T-Rex barely holding out its arms...

I've given two of these as gifts and even months later both people mention them to me, post little clips on FB from the book or otherwise bring it up. Hilarious gift for the dino lover. Each page contains one drawing with a caption of 'T-Rex trying xxx' such as "T-Rex trying to paint a house" or "T-Rex trying to make the bed".Quick easy read and worth the price. Printing is good, cover quality is good.
